About

Hi, I’m Lambros, I do 3D animation, illustrations and comic strips.
I am Liverpool based with a 5 years work experience. Having a background in character animation (MA) and visual arts (BA), I have worked for labs/studios as an 3D generalist, Animator, and Rigger/Coder. I have also worked as a comic strip artist and illustrator, for online publications and mobile games.

I’ve been part of Face Lab (Liverpool John Moores University), were I worked on Robert Burns Animated
I had been employed as a 3D generalist, and was involved with the Lab’s 3D projects for the past two years. A big part of it included animation of faces, capturing/handling mo-cap data, rigging, rendering and the development of plugins/scripts for Maya, which involved customization of face parts.

My love for comics and animation began when I was just a kid and I developed an interest in drawing and reading comics. My father being a big comic book fan himself has a huge collection of comic books that I enjoyed reading as a kid. My other big interest is cinema, which is a more resent obsession of mine developed during my undergraduate studies, due mostly to a cinema history class about cinema in the 70s.  Since then I love watching and studying movies.  Furthermore,  I am a big fan of heavy metal music and I play the electric guitar and bass. I also love history and learning new things in general. I spend hours surfing the net and the Wikipedia where I start from a page and then end up to a completely unrelated article from the one I started.

Currently I’m  the artist behind “Leo et gal”, “Prof. Oikon” and “Undying Warfare”.

I’ve illustrated the mobile game “Griffin’s Flight”. Beta release on Google Play Store.
